Not Parineeti or Sonakshi but Diana Penty to be seen in Mubaraka opposite Arjun Kapoor

Since its inception, there has been a lot of speculation around Aneez Bazmee’s Mubaraka as to who will be the film’s female lead. Firstly, Parineeti Chopra’s name was doing the rounds, but reportedly things didn’t fall in place for her. Next, it was Sonakshi Sinha, who also opted out of the project owing to her professional commitments. Now as per a daily, Diana Penty’s name is doing the rounds to join the cast of the film along with Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.

The film brings Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor together onscreen for the first time in the role of an uncle and nephew.Mubaraka is in its scripting stages and the makers are currently finalizing other members of the cast. Shaukeenproducers Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde have been roped in to produce the venture. The film was earlier supposed to be directed by Milap Zaveri. However, things didn’t work out and post the success of Welcome Back, Anees Bazmee was roped in to direct it.

Diana is yet to give a confirmation on the same. She will be soon seen in Happy Bhaag Jayegi, slated for an August 19, 2016 release.
