Raju Murugan's 'Joker' Appreciated At Censor Board
Journalist-turned-director Raju Murugan of Cuckoo fame was apprehensive about how Censor Board would view his upcoming political satire Joker. As it turns out, not only was the film cleared with a clean 'U' certificate, it was also appreciated, according to a report. Joker (U): Book Your Tickets Right Away! "In the first place, we were apprehensive about getting the film cleared. Much to our surprise, we got a 'U' certificate with small cuts for violent scenes and cuss words. They also approved the idea that 'everyone should speak politics' which is the theme of the movie," Raju Murugan told Deccan Chronicle.
