Rio olympic 2016 second Day More Medals Chances for Australian Swimmer and Cyclists
More medals up for grabs in the pool and in the women's road race, but the Aussies will have to aim true if they are to win in the archery and shooting events.

Day Swimming
The first medal up for grabs will be the women's 100m butterfly at 11:03am on Monday. One quarter of the gold-medal-winning 4x100m freestyle relay team, Emma McKeon, will be representing Australia after qualifying second-fastest behind Swedish star Sarah Sjostrom.
We will also get our only look at London 2012 silver medallist James Magnussen when he lines up alongside the world's best sprinters, probably including US great Michael Phelps, for the men's 4x100m freestyle relay. Australia is one of the three favourites, with the final set for 12:52pm on Monday.
Before that though, Jess Ashwood will carry Australia's hopes in the 400m freestyle. The final will be raced at 12:01pm, immediately after the men's 100m breaststroke final, and could be the first gold medal of an historic Olympic outing for US superstar Katie Ledecky.
Also, be on the lookout for Emily Seebohm, Madison Wilson and Mitch Larkin in their respective 100m backstroke semi-finals. The men start at 12:12pm, with the women straight after, at 12:36pm.
Rugby sevens
Australia's women are the reigning world series champions and a gold-medal favourite. They will start their day with a pool clash against USA at 2:30am.
The quarter-finals of the women's side of the draw will be played from 6:00am to 8:00am on Monday.
Cycling - women's road race
Just as it was in the men's road race, Australia's (and every country's) medal hopes could be dashed or boosted by a single crash.
But 2012 world championship silver medallist Rachel Neylan is the best chance in green and gold when the 136.9-kilometre race starts at 1:15am on Monday.
Tennis
Daria Gavrilova kicks off her campaign against world number one Serena Williams. They will be second on centre court after Dustin Brown and Thomaz Bellucci start the day's play at 11:45pm on Sunday.Australia's highest-ranked player, Samantha Stosur, will meet Jelena Ostapenko in the third match on court two, where play starts at midnight.
Third up on court three, Sam Groth will also start his singles campaigns against Belgian world number 13 David Goffin.
Other highlights
- Diving: The first diving medals will be handed out after the women's 3m synchronised final at 5:00am on Monday. Maddison Keeney and Anabelle Smith are in fine form, finishing in the top six at four World Series meets this year, and should be in the hunt.
- Trap shooting: Catherine Skinner won bronze at the 2014 world championships and Laetisha Scanlan is ranked sixth in the world. Qualification starts at 10:00pm Sunday, the semi-finals are at 4:00am Monday, and the gold-medal match starts at 4:45am.
- Basketball: Australia's Opals look to continue their winning ways against Turkey at 6:30am on Monday.
- Hockey: The Kookaburras look to build on their 2-1 win over New Zealand when they meet Spain at 9:30am on Monday.
