This year we saw many new pairs, Tamannaah-Vijay, Rajinikanth-Radhika, Nayanthara-Vikram click with their first film itself. It’s refreshing to see new combinations come together after the done and dusted pairs. And guess what, this trend will continue in 2017 as well! We will see many new pairs come together next year and we are excited! So the big question is – will they click at the BO? While we can decide that only once the film releases, let’s take a look at all the brand new pairs to look forward to in 2017.

Kajal Aggarwal–Chiranjeevi – This is one pair, fans are super curious about. When Chiranjeevi was making his comeback with his 150 film, many actresses were considered, right from Nayanthara to Anushka Shetty to Deepika Padukone and even Jacqueline fernandez, but finally the makers finalised on Kajal Aggarwal. Several eyebrows were raised, because nobody was sure if the two would click together. But all our doubts were out of the window, when this above pic of the lead pair from the sets in Croatia leaked online. Chiranjeevi’s mega style and Kajal Aggarwal delicate beauty complemented ecah other perfectly. Now we are super excited to see them on screen this January 2017. Keerthy Suresh-Vijay – Ilayathalapathy fans must be counting days already because Vijay’s 60th film will soon hit the screens. And this time Vijay has teamed up with Keerthy Suresh- the overnight star of the Tamil industry. A recent still from one of their songs was released, and they make quite a rowdy looking pair. Bindaas and adorable, that’s how you would describe these two! Keerthy has looked good with most actors till date, we are now looking forward to her chemistry with the ultimate mass actor – Vijay. Karthi-Aditi Rao Hydari – Mani Ratnam is back with another intriguing romantic flick – Kaatru Veliyidai! But what’s even more interesting is the lead pair, Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari and Karthi have come together for this love story. Fans, have no doubts about this pair, because their first look was too adorable. They seemed at home already. Nothing about the plot has been revealed so far, all we know is Karthi plays a pilot. He has lost oodles of weight for this project and is looking hotter than before!

Ajith-Kajal – It’s surprising to know Kajal after being in the industry for so many years, didn’t get a chance to work with Ajith. But finally it happened with his 57th film. The two are coming together for Thala 57 – a hi-fi action flick. He plays an FBI officer. The movie also stars Akshara Haasan. Nothing about this film has been revealed yet, not even the title. So now we are just waiting for a glimpse of the lead pair.
