This year has been awesome for the divas in the industry, thanks to the lovely fashion transformations they underwent. 2016 started with a bang not just for the films but also for fashion. For quite a while we had been stating how some actresses like Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha, Deepika Padukone need a fashion makeover. Finally, they heard us and left us stunned with their risqué and chic change in style. We are so glad that they did the needful and made some stellar style statements throughout the year. And as this year comes to an end, we’ve compiled the best fashion makeovers of 2016. You can check them all out below.

Katrina Kaif

Post her breakup, Kaif underwent a massive transformation in terms of her fashion. We were literally bored of all the Barbie-like ensembles she would choose instead of making bold statements. However, all that went to hell as she finally made good use of trends and incorporated all in her outfits.

You can tell that cold shoulders, crop tops and skirts, boots, etc, are very unlike Kat’s personality. But boy are we loving this transformation. We just hope she continues to wow us in the coming year with the same kinda fashion game.

Deepika Padukone

To be quite frank, DP’s year in terms of fashion has literally been extreme. One fine day she slayed us with her gorgeous outing but the next minute she would make a big blunder. Nevertheless, the fact that she ditched her flowy gowns and opted for some risqué ensembles, tried looks and pulled it off with her confidence, was phenomenal. You can see how much her choice of fashion has changed. In fact, thigh high slit became a trend in the industry, courtesy Deepika! That speaks volumes of how well she has transformed.

Parineeti Chopra

Weight loss wasn’t the only transformation that Parineeti underwent. After shedding quite a few kilos, the actress made heads turn with her fantastic bod and the clothes she donned. It’s as if she hit an epiphany of some sort and decided to make some amends. Thank god for that as we soon witnessed a variety of looks we never thought Pari could pull off. Good job there! Having said that, we’ll be seeing her a lot next year, with Meri Pyaari Bindu, Golmaal Again and Takadum. Hopefully, she’ll maintain this stride and continue to slay.

Sonakshi Sinha

Maybe Sonam Kapoor’s words did sting Sonakshi when she said she needs a new stylist. Because ever since that, Sinha has shed her good girl image and opted for a sexy transformation. The transition is so startling and brilliant we’re happy for her! If you notice, Sona has lost oodles of weight and changed her fashion picks as well. We are totally loving it as this is the first time we’ve seen the actress look so sexy off screen! Perhaps her fans have the same reaction to her change in fashion.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Karan Johar has a big hand in the style transformation of Aishwarya! We’re saying that because ever since Ae Dil Hai Mushkil happened, the actress’ take towards fashion and even her cues have taken a drastic change. Of course, it’s for the better. Earlier she would wear some atrocious ensembles that definitely didn’t do justice to her gorgeous looks. However, we certainly won’t be cringing at the sight of her outfits (hopefully) for she has taken up some really good fashion lessons.
